Welder and Fabricator by trade, Blacksmith and designer by passion. I design in CAD, create in the forge, and then assemble using my trade knowledge.

I have been a welder and fabricator for several years since I was formally trained in Michigan, but I have been a blacksmith since I was a teenager. I am coming back to relearn those skills and grow them more than ever before.

I got my start back when I was 13 or 14, when my mother started reenacting at the Daniel Boone Home. Back then, there was no blacksmith’s forge, and a man there was determined to change that. I have since forgotten his name, but I worked with him on several occasions in developing the blacksmithing equipment to bring that to life.

Across that summer, I helped him build a bellows for a small coke forge and he taught me several useful tips that helped me stay safe while developing my skills. Much of my learning from there has been done by trial and error, research online, and applying knowledge and skills I learned when I attended my welding school.

I built my own coke forge after working with him, then progressed to a propane forge. Attending welding school gave me the knowledge to build greater infrastructure for my shop.

Since moving back to Missouri after a time in northern Michigan, I have rediscovered my love for the forge. My variety of things for sale may be limited, but I am quickly growing my skills and expanding my offerings.

My next goal is to learn how to forge weld instead of simply welding the way I was taught. I am excited to progress more in this craft and offer more products to improve your home.
